Peter Lucchesi Joins STAUF Sales Force
STAUF USA is proud to announce the addition of Peter Lucchesi of Memphis, TN, to the STAUF sales force. As the Central Regional Sales Director, Peter will be responsible for managing and servicing STAUF’s distribution network in the Central Region, as well as developing new opportunities for the company.
“Peter has some of the great characteristics that I look for in an employee. He is dedicated, trustworthy, and has integrity. His knowledge and relationships are very goo,d and I am very proud to have Peter as part of our team,” says David Ford, VP of Sales and Marketing for STAUF.
Peter joins STAUF with nearly a decade of industry experience. He graduated from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN, in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, and got his start in the Flooring Industry shortly after in 2006. As a Key Account Manager with Global Market Partners/Precision Technology, he covered distributors in the eastern US region. While mainly working on the wood/cork side, he also assisted in sales efforts with Precision Technology, a manufacturer of finishes, sealers, stains, and wood-fillers for unfinished wood floors.
In 2015 Lucchesi went to work for BPI Distributors. At BPI, he was the Memphis Territory Manager for hard-surface products: Anderson, Armstrong, Columbia, Prestige, Indus-Parquet, Qu-Cork, Bostik and Franklin. During his time with BPI, he expanded his knowledge of the flooring industry and gained a true understanding of the day-to-day life of a distributor account manager.
“When the opportunity presented itself with STAUF USA in July 2015, I knew and felt that it was a special place, and I wanted to be a part of the STAUF team. Also, knowing how far STAUF USA has come and the opportunities that are still ahead is extremely exciting,” says Lucchesi. STAUF is happy to have Peter on board, and looks forward to the relationships he will establish and cultivate, both new and old.
